Fort Benning - Columbus, GA

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc has provided Solid Waste Collection and Recycling to the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA from 1997 to 2003, and is currently in the second year of a new contract awarded in June 2007. Mark Dunning Industries also operated the Fort Benning landfill in a previous contract.  Ft. Benning is home to over 30,000 Military personnel, over 9000 civilian personnel, more than 10,000 residents in Army Family Housing, and covers more than 180,000 acres. 

Specific refuse services Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. has been providing to Fort Benning
include the following:

• Scheduled collection of over eight cubic yard refuse containers throughout the installation.
• Scheduled weekly collection of eight cubic yard cardboard recycle containers
  throughout the installation.
• Scheduled and unscheduled collection of 20cy, 40cy roll offs, and 34cy compactors.
• Support for additional activities such as installation clean-ups and Morale Welfare,
  and Recreational functions.

Fort Carson - Colorado Springs, CO

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc provided Solid Waste Collection and Recycling to the United States Army under contract at Ft. Carson, Colorado from 2006-2011.  Ft. Carson is home to over 18,930 military personnel, 3,000 civilian personnel, and covers more than 235,000 acres.

• Refuse removal for Family Housing quarters to include bulk item collection weekly and seasonal leaf and yard waste removal.
• Curbside recycling for family Housing quarters weekly.
• Collection thirty-two gallon containers located in playgrounds throughout the housing area, parks, bus stops, ball fields, golf courses and sidewalks.

Fort Rucker - Ozark, AL

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc has provided Solid Waste Collection and Recycling to the United States Army under contract at Fort Rucker, Alabama, since FY2000.  Fort Rucker is home to over 5,500 military personnel, 7,000 civilian personnel, and covers more than 63,000 acres. 
Specific refuse services Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. has been providing to Fort Rucker include the following:

• Refuse removal for Family Housing quarters to include bulk item collection, recycling,
  weekly and seasonal leaf and yard waste removal.
• Collection of fifty-five gallon containers located primarily in playgrounds throughout
  the housing area.
• Scheduled collection of eight cubic containers throughout the installation and remote airfields.
• As needed twenty cubic yard roll-off containers throughout the installation.
• Support for additional activities such as installation clean-ups and MWR functions.

Kings Bay Submarine Base - Kings Bay, GA

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. has been providing Roads and Grounds Maintenance, and Refuse Collection services to the United States Navy at Kings Bay, GA under subcontract since 1991, and is currently operating under its third contract. Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base is home to over 5,000 military and 2,000 civilian personnel, and more than 1,500 contract personnel. There are more than 3,000 residents in Navy Family housing.

Specific refuse services Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. has been providing to Kings Bay
include the following:

• Scheduled collection of eight cubic containers throughout the installation.
• Scheduled collection of forty cubic-yard and thirty cubic yard containers throughout the
  installation and scheduled collection of metal containers for recycling
• Complete support for wartime and security movements as required by the events
  of September 11th.
• Support for additional activities such as installation clean-ups and Morale Welfare,
  and Recreational functions.

Roads and Grounds Maintenance

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. has been providing Roads and Grounds Maintenance, and Refuse Collection services to the United States Navy at Kings Bay, GA under subcontract since 1991, and is currently operating under its third contract. Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base is home to over 5,000 military and 2,000 civilian personnel, and more than 1,500 contract personnel. There are more than 3,000 residents in Navy Family housing.

MDI's duties include the following:

Grass cutting, edging, tree pruning and cutting, planting, mulching, maintenance of flower and shrub beds, leaf collection, sodding, debris removal, pesticide application, fertilizing, litter pickup, street sweeping, irrigation maintenance and control, and operation of an
inert landfill.

Integrated Pest Control

Mark Dunning Industries has been performing Integrated Pest Control Services to the United State Navy at Kingsbay Naval Submarine Base since 2007. The base consists of more than 16,000 acres, lying between the St. Marys and Crooked Rivers, on Kings Bay, an arm of Cumberland Sound. MDI's Pest Control operations include:

Miscellaneous Arthropod Pest Control, Cockroach Control, Controlling the Infestation of Bees, wasps, hornets, etc., Adult Mosquito Control, Rodent Control, Weed Control including Aquatic Plants, and Controlling Wood Destroying Organisms.

Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico

Mark Dunning Industries has provided Solid Waste Collection and Recycling to the United States Air Force under contract at Kirtland AFB, NM since 2011. Kirtland is home to over 3,500 military personnel, over 2,000 civilians, more than 1000 residences in Military Family Housing, and covers more than 52,000 acres.

• Scheduled collection of 6CY Front Load Refuse containers throughout the installation.
• Scheduled collection of 6CY Front Load Cardboard Recycle containers.
• Scheduled collection of 95 and 65 gallon Office Recycle containers
  located at buildings throughout the base.
• Scheduled and Unscheduled collection of 40CY Roll-Off containers
  and 34CY self-contained compactors.
• Collection of 30CY and 40CY Recycle Roll-Off containers located throughout the installation.
• Operation of Bulk Recycle Center to include but not limited to the capturing, processing,
  reporting, marketing, and sales of multiple recycle commodities.
• Support for additional activities such as inspection installation clean-up and MWR functions.

FLETC at GLYNCO - Glynco, GA

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc has provided Solid Waste Collection to the United States Department of homeland Security under contract at GLYNCO, since FY2000.  GLYNCO is situated on 1,600 acres in southeast Georgia with modern conventional facilities such as classrooms, dormitories, and administrative and logistical support structures, including a dining hall capable of serving more than 4,000 meals per day. Additionally, Glynco has 18 firearms ranges, including a state-of-the-art indoor range complex with 146 separate firing points; and eight highly versatile semi-enclosed ranges with 200 additional firing points. Other training assets include a sprawling complex of driver training ranges, a physical techniques facility, explosives range, fully functional mock port of entry, and numerous other structures which support the entire training effort.

include the following:

• Scheduled collection of eight cubic containers throughout the installation.
• As needed twenty cubic yard and forty yard roll-off containers throughout the installation

Mark Dunning Industries, Inc has provided Solid Waste Collection services to Troy University in Troy, AL, from 1999-2005, and is currently in its new contract awarded in May 2011. Troy University is home to over 28,000 students with approximately 7,000 on the main campus in Troy, AL. The main campus in Troy consists of 36 major buildings on 650 acres (1.9 km²) plus the adjacent Troy University Arboretum. Mark Dunning Industries is a proud supporter of the Troy Trojans athletic program.

include the following:

• Scheduled collection of 2, 4, 6 and 8 CY refuse containers throughout the University, including collections at administration buildings, dining halls, and fraternity and sorority houses.
